Dr Tan has vast experience in reproductive surgery,

One gynaecological condition that might require
surgery is endometriosis, where the tissue of the womb
grows outside, causing pain and making it harder for

“These surgeries are often performed
laparoscopically, or in a minimally invasive way, as there
are many advantages to this such as faster healing,
better cosmesis, magnification of the surgical field, and
microsurgical suturing of tissues to reduce damage
during the operation,” he explained.
