The opening of Thomson Specialists at Woodleigh brings to life , our aspiration of bringing integrated and inclusive healthcare to the community . The new specialist centre was opened on 16th September , and witnessed by many friends and partners who joined us on the joyous occasion .
In an ever changing and fast paced life , Thomson Specialists aims to bring accessibility and convenience by integrating care under one roof , building an ecosystem of support around the busy individual .
Located at the new Woodleigh mall in the bustling Bidadari estate , Thomson Specialists Woodleigh brings together 1� different doctors , featuring our strengths in Paediatrics , Obstetrics & Gynaecology to provide over 10 different clinical specialties to the community .
The centre has been built with differently abled children and their families in mind equipped with a day surgery operating theatre for one stop care , and our mixed-use space offering Traditional Chinese Medicine , Prenatal Classes , Postpartum Support , pregnancy and parentcraft workshops which complement our suite of Specialist services on offer .
Project Head , Dr Julian Hong applied design thinking around the journey of the busy individual , the tireless mother , the growing child to answer key questions - “ How do we bring specialised and premium healthcare to the community ? It must be an integrated centre where we can support a patient ’ s journey and myriad healthcare needs . How do we also build an ecosystem that is inclusive , effective and safe� ” These questions led to the eventual ideation for the new centre which began

Delivering alongside integrated care at Thomson Specialists , Thomson Life provides the retail health touch point to journey with our patients across their life cycles and brings the best of East meets West to support patients ’ pertinent health concerns . From Traditional Chinese Medicine ( TCM ) to our award-winning Thomson Nutri confinement food , patients� different maternal needs are being covered at the new centre . There is also a retail health touch point where different curated products are being featured . Being located in a new housing estate with many young parents , it is important that services such as Parentcraft , breastfeeding support , baby massages , and sleep training are all conveniently located under one roof and easily accessible .
The centre also provides specialised assessments and therapies for babies and infants , including ADHD and autism evaluations . Mothers-to-be and mommies who are interested in incorporating western medicine with other forms of traditional treatment methods will not be disappointed as the centre features a TCM clinic with a certified TCM physicians on site .
