The rapid economic growth and technological advancements in Vietnam have been the major factors that ’ s driving their plastic surgery arena . The general population ’ s increase in self-care and it ’ s popular use of advertising and social media , creates engaging , exciting exposure for the public . Vietnamese in general are more receptive , physical attributes are more appreciated and spending power are on the rise .
What are the factors that restrains the plastic surgery landscape in Vietnam ? Generally , the lack of knowledge and education on aesthetic itself and this leads to misconception on the procedures , the benefits and there are still concerns about the safety , risk and complications of the treatments .
Social stigmas are also a factor . While it isn ’ t a taboo at large , some individuals still hold negative views about cosmetic surgery , considering it unnatural or unnecessary .
Vietnam is a very competitive market . Competition among medical facilities often lead to a decrease in service quality , causing patients to worry about safety and effectiveness . But I must say , the landscape of cosmetic surgery in Vietnam is undergoing significant growth with many driving factors , and in time , with the right strategy and education , Vietnam will overcome this , positively .
As you ’ ve mentioned , there is limited awareness and education about cosmetic procedures , resulting in misconceptions and stigma . What initiatives have you and your team at Nam An taken in promoting the right principles on cosmetic surgery ? A good amount of educational workshops and seminars , both online and offline . We use these platform for an interactive engagement with the community , to discuss various cosmetic procedures , their benefits , risks , and recovery processes , just so everyone are more well informed .
We ’ ve also invested into partnering with healthcare professionals , beauty influencers , and industry experts to share accurate information and personal experiences regarding cosmetic procedures . It helps normalize conversations around these topics .
Every consultation process in Nam An is thorough and transparent . We want our patients to ask questions and express concerns . We in turn , will provide clear information about the procedures , the costs , and the expected outcomes for the respective patients .
