Reviving aging with principles
Respect for patient autonomy is an important and indispensable principle in the ethical practice of clinical medicine . Accidents in medicine and other high risk areas has led to a much broader concept of causation , with less focus on individuals and more on financial gain . There are still , a notable few , who have adapted the practical use in healthcare and wellness , in working towards developing safer systems of care . Putting safety first .
And George , is the notable few .
The aesthetic consumer trends are strongly influenced by commercial and social media content , how are you as a medical practitioner managing these expectations vs medical principles ? Safety first , everything else comes second .
We don ’ t invest much on SEO nor social media and most of our references are from google reviews and word-of-mouth . That speaks volume . I have no reservation turning patients away if I don ’ t have what they want , rather than what they need . Even our website is very transparent , the prices , the treatment . No packages available , each treatment is uniquely yours . No deposit required . You come , get treated and pay as treated .
Social media causes stress on women and men in general . The idea of having the ideals . We ’ re a conventional practice , with conventional undertakings . A real woman for me , is one with character , physically . Being able to smile , with those natural lines , that ’ s perfect . Too perfect is too strange .
Our patient needs to know that any surgery comes with risks , be it a little or a little too much . We make our income through transparency , honesty and we give what they actually need rather than what they desire . I ’ m the first point of contact with each new and existing patient , not my staff . I want to be there to hear their stories , concern and expectations .
And I will be there to steer them towards the right treatment .
Our team aren ’ t just any lot that are assembled to be here . We have graduates from the likes of Harvard , Stanford , MIT etc . They are the best of the best and our principles are of one . transparency and quality .
Aside from beautification , transformative and positive aging , how much has Revival invest and evolve when it comes to corrective treatments ? Not much , to be honest . Most of our income comes from our Anti-Aging procedures , while Aesthetic treatments contributes about 10 % of our revenue . We invest heavily on machines ; laser , lifting machine etc . We have our own lab on anti-aging , with full control on its quality , the transportation , the donors . It ’ s fully developed and researched by us and the imports comes from the likes of USA and Germany .
Revival has no partners ; aside from my wife , we have no investor , no financing and that ’ s not a bad thing . We have the luxury of choosing , what we want to do , who to work with , what method to apply and who to be treated .
What ’ s the appeal of Bangkok when it comes to aesthetic and wellness ? Simple . The facilities and infrastructure are topnotch . Patients get the best of everything here , in Bangkok especially . The best leisure , the best food , the best shopping and the best treatment . It ’ s a wellness haven .
100 % of my patients are foreign , international patients . They come here , of course firstly for Revival and everything else from the moment they land , up to the day they depart , Bangkok itself is an experiential journey . And they will come back .
Your views on the wellness and aesthetic landscape between Asia vs the rest of the world ? In my honest opinion , Asia is way more advanced . It has evolved to an unbelievable speed . Asian women have more spending power and they ’ re more selfconscious . Look at S . Korea for example , they are hundreds of steps away when it comes to aesthetic . The eco-system here in Asia is also way more harmonious .
