Asia ’ s Medical Aesthetic , Forging ahead in sync

The Asia Pacific Aesthetics market is projected to reach USD 4.3 Billion by 2032 at 9.9 % CAGR during the forecast period 2023- 2032 ( Source : Market Research Future ). With the increase in technological advancements , there is a reduction in side effects and better quality treatments . This , along with increasing awareness among the Asian population , drives the Asia-Pacific medical aesthetics market , with strong resilience and room for strategic innovations in business models , product portfolios , and targeted patient base . And this will continue to flourish with the right strategy , technology and ideology . In this high-stakes world of beauty , Asia isn ’ t just participating ; it ’ s leading the charge , setting trends , and redefining the future of physical wellness .

Take South Korea for example , on how the growth of its ’ medical tourism does not rely on infrastructure and technology alone . The K-Entertainment as a whole , plays a pivotal part of South Korea ’ s popularity and charm as a treatment destination . And they use this strategy rightly ; coupled with quality treatments , high-end leisure facilities , historical landmarks , all adds up to the attraction for a wider array of patients to come to Korea .
Then we witnessed the evolving trend of rhinoplasty , sculpting , antiaging amongst other , and of course , the highly talked about , stem-cell . Stem cells have been employed for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia and skin rejuvenation with promising results , but their incorporation into cosmeceuticals is still in its infancy . Despite promising preclinical data and small clinical studies , additional randomized , controlled trials and standardization of treatment are needed to truly understand the place of stem cells in the aesthetics arena . We hope for a more well-informed , wellpracticed and a well regulated scene to take place in the very near future .
GHAPAC Aesthetics & Wellness Summit , Conference and Awards 2024 Kuala Lumpur , witnessed a diverse group of medical , wellness and aesthetic practitioners all gathered under the same roof for the same purpose . Celebrating Aesthetics and it ’ s Future .
12 distinguished speakers , 110 award attendees and 48 winners , across different categories , different specialties and different countries .
We have technology advocators imparting their takes on what the new aesthetic landscape should look like , seasoned practitioners sharing their insights on the future of personalised care and medical doctors who walks the talk .
More importantly , we witnessed the colourful joy of all the winners from Malaysia , Thailand , Singapore , Vietnam , Cambodia , Indonesia , Myanmar and India .
The event came to a close with many new connections made . The sharings and presentations , the recognitions beyond the trophy itself , showed how important collaborations are to congenial practice and industry leader ’ s engagement . It ’ s a contrast to the myth of the competitive , egoistic and impassive medical landscape .
