Oncology Team and Oncology Centre In addition to our excellent clinical care , we offer a variety of supportive services to help patients cope with cancer . These services include palliative care , cancer and nutrition counselling , Radiotherapy , Biological Targeted Therapy and Hormonal Therapy . KPJ Johor also became the first private hospital in the state to have a special support group for cancer patients called ‘ Johor Specialist Support Group ’ ( JSSG ) in October 2022 . JSSG was established to provide cancer patients with emotional and social support as well as to increase awareness and education on cancer .

“ Sometimes , support from family members may not be enough , which is why we established JSSG to help cancer patients overcome trauma and provide information , motivation and safe guidance ,” said Haliza Khalid .
