Exercise balls to alleviate contraction pains are also equipped in the delivery suites . To help reduce anxiety experienced during delivery , TMC also offers lavender-scented aromatherapy with soothing music upon request . Listening to the growing needs of our returning mothers , TMC has further updated our room options and launched a new Deluxe Family Room designed to provide a relaxing stay for mothers and their families . This suite-sized room is ideal for their spouse and one child ( aged 1.5 - 6 years old ), allowing the whole family to enjoy a private and comfortable space with a unique boutique ambience .

Emphasising on the nutritional needs of mothers , TCM has continued to serve healthy and nourishing meals that are specially curated by a team of lactation consultants , Traditional Chinese Medicine physicians and dieticians . This helps mothers to recover well and to nurse their babies .” TMC continues to innovate our nutrition proposition by partnering gourmet food brands to enhance the freshness and quality of our meals . Our inpatient meals are served with Kinmemai Japanese Rice , which contains more vitamins and dietary fibres but lower calories and sugars compared to conventional rice . In addition , we also prefer to use local produce in our meals to ensure freshness and nutritional benefits are passed on to our patients . For example , patients can opt for locally farmed Kühlbarra ’ s barramundi , which is free of antibiotics and growth hormones while containing five times higher brain-boosting Omega-3 than regular fish .
