Maxicare Children Hospital was found in 2018 as a private clinic by a team of professional doctors and businessmen . The doctors have strong track records in the pediatric field , both on national and international stages . They are also well known by patients since they have been practicing in public hospitals and private clinics .

Maxicare is a private clinic registered by the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia . Since its inception in 2018 , the clinic has treated about 60.000 children from Phnom Penh and other provinces around the country . In January , Maxicare became the first private pediatric hospital approved by the Ministry of Health of Cambodia .

consultations and emergency services with advanced resuscitation equipment and professional doctors and nurses experienced in managing patients who require emergency care . All physicians graduated in France or Australia and they have many years of experience working as pediatricians in Cambodia . Patients who need to be hospitalised will be admitted to the private rooms with friendly decoration for kid ( all rooms are private ). The hospital has its own laboratory where expert staff can perform a lot of tests for patients who require further investigation . The lab has advanced technology that leads to accurate results . For example , the staff can perform X-Ray and general ultrasound tests . In case patients need to undergo surgery , our surgeons can operate on them in our operation theater , which is equipped with modern medical machine and systems such as : Anesthesia machine , cautery machine and the internal negative pressure system to protect patients from contamination and germs . We have vaccination centres separated from other departments . Patients who check in at our facility will be taken care of because our vaccination centres are staffed with receptionists and nurses taking vital signs . Before getting vaccinated , children will also be checked by our doctors to make sure their general health is good . The centres can also boast a playground for kids .
