Dr Donna Robinson is the founder and CEO of Medconsult Clinic in Bangkok , Thailand , as well as one of the most well-known doctors in the expat community in Bangkok . She received the Asia-Pacific Best Integrated Healthcare Clinic of the Year Award in 2022 and 2023 . Prior to founding Medconsult , she worked with several Thai NGOs , wrote research on public health , and worked at Bumrungrad Hospital . She has over 20 years of medical experience in Thailand and as a Medical Consultant in many multinational companies in the region .

She founded the Medconsult Clinic in 2003 , initially as a General Practice and a Family Medicine Clinic . Although she still practices Family medicine and works as a General practitioner , Medconsult is now very well known as a diverse healthcare clinic .

She is a UK-trained and certified doctor with a Thai medical license from Chulalongkorn University , which allows her to work in Thai hospitals . Her dedication to medicine encouraged her to learn the Thai language in just two years in order to pass the Thai proficiency exam and be able to treat patients in the country . Her clinic is now a multi-award-winning General Practice Clinic and provides accessible healthcare because it is in the heart of Bangkok while ensuring patients have affordable and high-quality treatment . Over the past 20 years , she has consistently provided a welcoming and non-judgmental service for sexual health and cosmetics .
