KPJ Tawakkal KL ’ s niche in this space has led the hospital to set-up its Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence ( OCoE ) which houses Malaysia ’ s first Digital Operating Theatre ( DOT ) with a dedicated navigation system that use the latest technology to connect medical equipment and health systems . This seamless integration will simplify processes , save time and ultimately create better patient outcomes .

The OCoE offers state-of-the-art orthopaedic rehabilitation equipment such as the ALTER G Anti-Gravity treadmill , ALTER G Bionic Leg and the BTE Primus Work Simulator , some of which are the first to be offered in Malaysia .
