Columbia Asia is one of the fastest growing chains of hospitals in Southeast Asia . The latest addition to its stable of multi-disciplinary facilities is Columbia Asia Hospital – Tebrau ( CAH - Tebrau ) which opened in 2019 . In an age of a pandemic , this new facility has maintained its course in fulfilling the healthcare needs of families and corporates , in and around Johor Bahru . The hospital prioritises the safety and wellbeing of its patients , visitors and personnel by implementing strict Covid-19 SOPS on its premises . Significantly , the hospital also plays its part in the ongoing battle against the deadly virus by providing vaccinations , treatments , recovery care and support for Covid / Long Covid patients .

New disciplines and upcoming plans There is a high demand for hemodialysis from kidney patients in Johor Bahru . Hence , Columbia Asia Hospital – Tebrau expands its list of healthcare services with the upcoming launch of its Hemodialysis Center in the first quarter of next year .

Apart from the hemodialysis center , more specialities have been added to the list of medical disciplines at the hospital . These new fields are breast and endocrine surgery , dermatology , psychiatry , pediatric surgery and pediatric dentistry .

Malaysia ’ s Ministry of Health presented the café with a BeSS certification ( Bersih , Selamat & Sihat / Clean , Safe & Healthy ) as a recognition to its strict implementation of hygiene , food safety and nutrition .
