passionate mind . In addition to his clinical work , he is actively involved in humanitarian , philanthropic , and public health efforts . He has always wanted to pay back society and his profession . In 2019 , he started a scholarship and a bursary under the Singapore Institute of Technology . As part of his selfless service to humanity , he volunteered at the worker ’ s dormitory during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic .
In his earlier years , he received a Singapore government scholarship from the Ministry of Health ’ s Healthcare Management Development Programme ( HMPD ) in 2012 to become certified in Orthopedic Manual
Therapy from Manual Concepts at Curtin University , Australia .
He also served as a member of a task force under Singapore ’ s Ministry of Health ’ s Orthopaedic Workgroup ( 2014 ) and was selected for the National Healthcare Group ’ s potential leadership programme .
Before joining Rapid Physiocare , Abraham worked as the Head of Rehabilitation Services at a private hospital and was instrumental in establishing its rehabilitation department . He has worked alongside many reputed orthopaedists and surgeons in the city for the rehabilitation of joint injuries . He takes pride in being one of the pioneers to start primary physiotherapy at polyclinics in Singapore . His great sense of humour , which lightens the atmosphere and fortifies his patients while they ’ re feeling weak and worried , sets him apart from other physiotherapists .
His dream of opening his clinic was conceived when he realised that continuity of care was sometimes compromised when working in large organisations . As a result , he ’ s now committed to providing treatments for his patients continuously . This , coupled with his love for working in the community , motivated him to establish a clinic of his own where he could provide the best quality care unhindered . He always had the vision to build the best Rehab Team , which provides care for both young and old .
