Dr Yeo was awarded a gold medal by the College of Surgeons , Singapore , for his performance at the national plastic surgery board examinations in 2012 and was conferred a fellowship at the Academy of Medicine in Singapore the following year .
He has since completed multiple aesthetic and reconstructive surgical fellowships and observerships with some of the most notable names in the field . His significant achievements include being elected chairman of the Chapter of Plastic , Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons , College of Surgeons , Singapore between 2016

and 2019 . He was also nominated to be on the Ministry of Health Residency Advisory Committee in 2018 . In 2019 , he was elected as the national secretary for Singapore at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons , an elite international organisation within the field . In his earlier years in public service , Dr Yeo performed pioneering procedures in aesthetic surgery , massive weight loss body contouring , reconstructive surgeries of the head and neck , the breast and chest wall , and lymphatic surgery .
He is currently a visiting consultant at Singapore General Hospital and Changi General Hospital , where he continues to share his expertise with the next generation of plastic surgeons .
